FIELD: engines and pumps. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed part comprises annular labyrinth seal fin with coat of composite material. Fin radial height varies along its circle to make several ledges with height gradually increasing from space to edge and decreasing from edge to next space. Another invention relates to gas turbine engine comprising said part. In producing annular fin, optical head and nozzle are directed to one points at fin base apex surface. Laser source and powder material source are activated to produce melt bath wherein powder material is sprayed to obtain local bulge. Optical head and nozzle are directed to adjacent said points to complete material layer application. Said fin comprises several angular sectors each including ledge. Every ledge of fin is produced by applying narrower layers in lengthwise direction on apex surface.
