PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broadcast system in which cueing delay is compensated without inducing jitter increase of a synchronous packet, thereby enhancing synchronization precision.SOLUTION: A broadcast system 100 has a video server 101 for distributing video packets, and plural clients 102, 103 for receiving the distributed video packets. The video server 101 also functions as a master device for transmitting a synchronous packet to the plural clients 102, 103 to be synchronized with the clients 102, 103 as slave devices. The video server 101 has a transmitter 13 for transmitting plural video packets to the clients 102, 103 at different transmission intervals, and transmitting the synchronous packet. The client 102, 103 has a band estimating part 22 for estimating the band of an IP network based on the reception interval of the video packets, and a time information correction part 23 for correcting the time information of the synchronous packet based on the band estimation result.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
