<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for exerting an adequate erection force by retrofitting a balustrade support to a veranda and for erecting the balustrade support in a structurally simple manner. SOLUTION: A close-end bracket 1, composed of an aluminum casting, has four side walls 2, 2, etc. In the bracket 1, a mounting hole 4 is pierced in the center of a bottom wall 3, and tapered edges 5, 5, etc., are constituted so as to be narrowed down in such a tapered manner that respective insides face opening ends of the side walls 2, 2, etc., obliquely back to back. The balustrade support, composed of a rectangular column-shaped core material 6 inserted into a lower end of an aluminum balustrade support 8, has such a shape to be inserted into the bracket 1 and a proper length. Characteristically, respective leaf springs 7, 7, etc., are provided outside four surfaces at a lower end. The bracket 1 is fixed to a parapet 10 by an anchor bolt 9, and the core material 6 is inserted into the bracket 1 so that the balustrade support can be inserted elastically for erection with expansion by the leaf springs 7, 7, etc.</p> |
