<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an excellent optical transceiver which makes it possible to reduce power consumption and circuit size without raising an oversampling ratio. <P>SOLUTION: At a transmit end, digital signal processing (103) and DA conversion processing (104) are carried out with a x1 oversampling ratio, while at a receive end, a free spectral range (FSR) of a delay interferometer (130) is set to approximately 2/T, instead of applying strict band-limiting in an electrical region using an anti-aliasing filter, and a balanced type photon detector (131) is band-limited at 0.5/T, whereby a band narrowing penalty in the electrical region at the transmit end is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
