PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a molding material for precoating with a photocatalyst easily to be molded and hardly to be peeled by arranging the photocatalyst uniformly at the necessary parts and to provide a molding using the molding material and a fin for a heat exchanger. SOLUTION: On the surface of a metallic base material 1 comprising aluminum or an aluminum alloy, an under-laid layer 2 comprising any of a boehmite treatment layer, a chromate phosphate treatment layer, an alumite layer and a nonporous alumite layer is formed. On the under-laid layer 2, a photocatalyst layer 3 is formed. A lubricant layer 4 can be formed on the photocatalyst layer 3.
