HIGH-RATE METHANE RECOVERY WASTEWATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGIES FOR PALM OIL BY-PRODUCT

PURPOSE: An anaerobic wastewater treating apparatus and a method for collecting the same for collecting methane generated from palm oil wastewater treatment are provided to stably treat the palm oil wastewater using anaerobic microorganisms. CONSTITUTION: An anaerobic wastewater treating apparatus includes an anaerobic hybrid reactor(AHR)(10), a surge tank(20), and an anaerobic plug-flow filter(APF)(30). Palm oil wastewater from a solid-liquid separator is introduced into the lower part of the AHR through a wastewater distributor. A first weir is installed at the upper part of the AHR. A first scum discharging pipe and a first gas discharging pipe are installed at the upper part of the first weir. A first wastewater discharging pipe is installed at the lower part of the first weir. A partition dividing the surge tank is installed in the surge tank, and the height of the partition is the half of the height of the surge tank. Wastewater introduced into the surge tank flows over the partition, and the wastewater is discharged through a second wastewater discharging pipe. The second weir is installed at the upper part of the discharging part of the APF. A third wastewater discharging pipe is installed at the lower part of the second weir. A third gas discharging pipe is installed at the upper part of the APF. A sludge discharging pipe is installed at the lower part of the APF.
