HABITABLE ROOM EQUIPPED WITH HARMFUL SUBSTANCE REDUCTION SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an habitable room capable of efficiently decomposing a harmful substance in air in the habitable room without using any special device and reducing the concentration of the harmful substance.

SOLUTION: The habitable room is equipped with the ceiling material 1 having harmful substance resolving power having a visible radiation type photocatalyst on the upper-most surface, an air-stream generator 2 generating an air-stream along the surface of the ceiling material 1 and a lighting apparatus 3 directly irradiating the surface of the ceiling material 1, the harmful substance in the air-stream generated by the air-stream generator 2 is absorbed by the surface of the ceiling material 1 irradiated by the lighting apparatus 3, and the harmful substance is decomposed by the visible light photocatalyst to reduce the concentration of the harmful substance in the air in the habitable room.
