PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction head for a floor, which can efficiently drive rotation of a brush by a simple construction. SOLUTION: This suction head for a floor is equipped with a suction head body 1 having a suction port 2 on the lower surface, a rotary brush housing chamber 8 formed in the suction head body 1, a rotary brush 11 which faces the suction port 2 and is rotatably housed in the rotary brush housing chamber 8, a guide port 20 which is formed on the suction head body 1 to suck outside air, and a suction passage 26 to guide the outside air sucked through the guide port 20 to an exhaust port 23. The rotary brush 11 is rotated by collision of the outside air sucked through the exhaust port 23. The suction passage 26 is formed so as to be narrowed toward the exhaust port 23.
