An air conditioner in which judgment error due to difference in temperature of refrigerant at the outlet of a condenser is reduced at the time of judging whetehr the quantity of refrigerant is appropriate. The air conditioner (1) comprises a refrigerant circuit (10), an operation control means, and a refrigerant quantity judging means. The refrigerant circuit (10) is constituted by connecting a compressor (21), an outdoor heat exchanger (23), a supercooler (25), indoor expansion valves (41, 51), and indoor heat exchangers (42, 52). The operation control means can perform refrigerant quantity judging operation where the capacity of the supercooler (25) is controlled such that the temperature of refrigerant supplied from the supercooler (25) to the indoor expansion valves (41, 51) becomes constant. The refrigerant quantity judging means judges whether the quantity of refrigerant in the refrigerant circuit (10) is appropriate, based on the refrigerant flowing in the refrigerant circuit (10) or the operational state of constitutive apparatus in the refrigerant quantity judging operation.
