PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide individual packaging for an absorbent article having excellent unsealability and not easily causing a volatile component to volatilize.SOLUTION: Individual packaging 1 for an absorbent article includes: an absorbent article 2 having a lengthwise direction L and a widthwise direction W and folded up in the lengthwise direction L; and a package 4 that stores the absorbent article 2 in a storage space 3. The individual packaging 1 is characterized in that the storage space 3 is formed in the package 4 folding up a packaging sheet 5 together with the absorbent article 2 along one or more folding axes, the package 4 having a pair of seal regions 6 formed by sealing the folded packaging sheet 5 in the lengthwise direction L at both ends in the lengthwise direction L. Each of the paired seal regions 6 includes a plurality of seal parts 7 disposed intermittently in the lengthwise direction L, the packaging sheet 5 has a predetermined oxygen permeability, and the package 4 includes in the storage space 3 a chemical that contains a volatile component and a solvent to retain the volatile component.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
