A method for determining a drying time of a clothes dryer comprises: establishing, in a controller of a clothes dryer, a database at least comprising a correspondence between temperature change rates in a roller and drying time; and querying in the database according to the change rates of temperatures in the roller during drying so as to obtain an expected drying time, and displaying at least one of the expected drying time and a left time.
