PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coin processor which can be suitably operated by preventing a fault caused by dust or foreign matters. SOLUTION: Concerning the coin processor provided with a tray 15 for temporarily storing received coins and an inverting part 15b for allowing the inversion of the lower bottom part of the tray 15, this device is provided with a control means for rotating the inverting part 15b to an inverted position (x) or position at a prescribed angle, holding the inverting part there at standby time and controlling the rotation of the inverting part 15b to a coin accepting position at the time of transaction processing.
