PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a life estimating method of a rubber product capable of estimating the life of the rubber product in its early stages without lowering precision without performing a durability test over a long period of time until the rubber product is damaged and to develop a data compression processing method for noticing that the time series waveform of the measured rubber product is timewise compressed. SOLUTION: The life estimating method of the rubber product has a waveform shaping procedure 32 for subjecting a time series waveform, which is obtained by acquiring the load acting on the rubber product G attached to a mounting target 9 over a predetermined time, to time shortening processing and an FEM procedure 35 for performing finite-element method analysis using the input data obtained based on the time series waveform subjected to the time shortening processing in the waveform shaping procedure 32.
