PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and efficiently carry out construction of a continuous wall of high strength with usual facilities without using a special exclusive excavating device. SOLUTION: In this continuous wall forming method, a wall-like hole h2 of predetermined width is excavated in the ground G, and a solidifiable fluid m2 and a core material B are put in the hole h2 and integrally hardened to form a unit wall body e. The unit wall bodies e are connected to form the continuous wall W. Prior to the construction of the unit wall bodies e, a joint hole h1 is excavated in a position of the mutual joint of the unit wall bodies e, in a state of overlapping a part of the predetermined positions of both unit wall bodies e, and a solidifiable fluid m1 for the joint is put in the joint hole h1 and hardened to form a joint body 1 of lower strength than hardenable fluid consolidation parts 2 of the unit wall bodies e.
