Diaromatic amine compounds or an isomer or isomeric mixture thereof is provided having the general formula (I) wherein n, m, R, R¹, R², R³, R⁴ and R⁵are as defined herein are provided. Lubricating oil compositions and stabilizer-containing compositions containing the diaromatic amine compounds are also provided.
