<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disposable wearing article capable of suppressing stimulation to the skin of a wearer by a waist panel. <P>SOLUTION: A diaper 10 includes front and back waist panels 20 and 30 and a crotch panel 40 attached to the surface not facing the skin. The front and the back waist panels 20 and 30 have first and second inner surface sheets 21 and 31, first and second outer surface sheets 22 and 32, and first and second leak-proof sheets 23 and 33 positioned between the sheets. The first and the second leak-proof sheets 23 and 33 are bonded to the first inner surface sheet 21 and the second inner surface sheet 31 respectively by an adhesive 62. Front and back waist elastic bodies 24 and 34 are arranged between the first inner and the outer surface sheets 21 and 22 and between the second inner and the outer surface sheets 31 and 32, and a hot melt adhesive 61 is applied to substantially the entire circumference surface of the elastic bodies 24 and 34.
