SOLUTION: This sheet ejecting stacker is provided with a plurality of ejected sheet trays 3a to 3e for loading sheet materials S, sheet ejecting rollers 8a to 8e for ejecting the sheet materials S from respective sheet ejecting ports 13a to 13e to the trays, and flappers 7b to 7e for switching the ejecting directions of the sheet materials S to guide the sheet materials S to the sheet ejecting rollers. In this case, the ejected sheet trays 3a to 3e are removable, tray detecting sensors 5a to 5e are provided for detecting the existences of the ejected sheet trays, and when the uppermost ejected sheet tray is removed to increase the loading space of a given ejected sheet tray, control is performed to eject the sheet materials S from the sheet ejecting port located in a lowest place among the plurality of sheet ejecting ports capable of ejecting the sheet materials S to the sheet ejecting tray located just below the removed ejected sheet tray.
