SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING MOBILE TELEPHONE SERVICE AREA INFORMATION, MOBILE TELEPHONE SET, METHOD, AND PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To grasp the newest service area information.

SOLUTION: A system provides service area information showing service areas of the mobile telephone service, and is provided with mobile telephone sets, and a server apparatus. The mobile telephone set includes: a receiving condition specifying means which specifies receiving conditions of radio waves of the mobile telephone set; a receiving condition transmission means which transmits positional information of the mobile telephone set, and the information showing the receiving conditions of the radio waves specified by the receiving condition specifying means to the server apparatus; and a display control means which controls display update on the service area information received from the server apparatus on request based on the positional information and the information showing the receiving conditions of the radio waves specified by the receiving condition specifying means. The server apparatus includes a service area information updating means which updates the service area information to be memorized based on the positional information received from the mobile telephone set and the information showing the receiving conditions of the radio waves.
