PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the impact caused by the reading method in the correction processing for the signal of 1 frame, obtained by driving an image pickup device selectively, in units of row, by a split reading method or an addition reading method.SOLUTION: An image processing apparatus for processing the signals read from an image pickup device capable of reading selectively by addition reading or split reading for every row has first processing means performing offset correction of the signals in a first row read by a first reading method by using the signals of predetermined multiple rows, read by the first reading method before the first row, and second processing means performing offset correction of the signals in a second row read by a second reading method, by using the signals of the second row and predetermined values.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8 |
