PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drain plug for a fluid filter capable of pushing up stably a valve member of which strength at a closing surface for closing a drain hole is improved.SOLUTION: A drain plug 2 for a fluid filter 1 of this invention is constituted in such a way that an adapter 6 is fitted to a head part 32 under a state in which it is screwed into a drain hole part 15 at a bottom part 14 of a case 11 of a fluid filter 1, a protruding lever 4 stored in it is moved toward a valve member 12 side on the bottom part 14 closing the drain hole part 15 and the valve member 12 is moved in a direction away from the bottom part 14. A top surface 415 of the protruding lever 4 is provided with a concave part 416. When the top surface 415 is pressure-contacted with the valve member 12 to move the valve member 12, the concave part 416 stores a rib 122 in it that protrudes from a closing surface of the valve member 12 closing the drain hole part 15.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9 |
