PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To allow a first and a second rotary brushes held by a support member to be simply removed as a unit and to allow easy maintenance. SOLUTION: A suction tool for a vacuum cleaner is provided with: a first rotary brush 30 which is equipped with a pulley 26 on one end and has a first cleaning piece 31 along a longitudinal direction; a motor 24 for rotary-driving the first rotary brush 30; a drive belt 25 for communicating driving force from the motor 24 to the pulley 26; a second rotary brush 35 which has a second cleaning piece 36 in the longitudinal direction and is rotary-driven by the first rotary brush 30; and a pair of support members 28 and 29 for freely rotatably pivoting the first and second rotary brushes 30 and 35. The second rotary brush 35 is placed between the motor 24 and the first rotary brush 30, and the first and second rotary brushes 30 and 35 which are joined and held by the pair of support members 28 and 29 are removably fixed inside the case 17.
