PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ignition device capable of improving combustion efficiency of fuel by extending ignition time of a plug.SOLUTION: An ignition device includes: an ignition coil T having a first coil P1, a second coil S which are electromagnetically coupled with each other; a first switch Q1 connected to one end of the first coil; a battery E connected to the other end of the first coil; a boosting part 13 whose one end is connected to the battery; a second switch Q2 connected to the other end of the boosting part and the other end of the first coil; and driving devices 11, 12 for on/off-driving the first switch and the second switch. The driving device flows a secondary current to the second coil by switching the first switch from an on-state to an off-state, and supplies output of the boosting part to the first coil by switching the second switch from the off-state to the on-state.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
