SERVER, AND METHOD AND PROGRAM FOR ISSUING PRINT REQUEST

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To aid operation for selecting a suitable apparatus from a plurality of image forming apparatuses connected to a network on the basis of the performance and functions of the apparatus and allowing the selected apparatus to execute jobs in a required format.

SOLUTION: A management server 10 for managing a plurality of image forming apparatuses 20 is provided with: a status information management part 12 for acquiring and managing status information from the plurality of image forming apparatuses 20; a target apparatus selection part 13 for receiving a print request from a client terminal, collating a printing condition concerned with a job included in the print request with the status information of the plurality of image forming apparatuses 20 managed by the status information management part 12 and selecting an image forming apparatus 20 provided with status matched with the printing condition as a print request transmitting destination; and a data transmitting/receiving part 11 for transferring the print request to the selected image forming apparatus 20.
