PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for advising fuel economy improving operation capable of effectively giving advice for improving the fuel economy in the driving operation of a driver. SOLUTION: The device for advising fuel economy improving operation gives advice for improving the fuel economy in a plurality of notice modes in the driving operation of the driver. The device comprises an advice observance degree measuring means for measuring an advice observance degree of the driver corresponding to each notice mode included in the plurality of notice modes and a notice mode determining means for determining the notice mode to be used for the advice from the plurality of notice modes. The device is characterized in that the notice mode determining means determines the notice mode based on the advice observance degree of the driver corresponding to each notice mode which is measured by the advice observance degree measuring means so that the notice mode of a higher advice observance degree is used more frequently.
