An access method and access terminal for a satellite communication link, which relate to the technical fields of satellite communications and wireless cellular mobile communications. The method comprises: an AT under a cellular system receives signals of cells; and the AT determines, when the AT receives signals of a plurality of cells comprising cells of which cell bearer link types are a satellite link bearer type and a wire link bearer type and if the signals of the satellite link bearer type cells are the strongest among the signals of the plurality of cells, that all the wire link bearer type cells do not satisfy set conditions, and has access to the satellite link bearer type cells, wherein the set conditions comprise: signals of cells are greater than or equal to a minimum access signal-to-noise ratio threshold, and cell load information is non-overloaded. The technical solution optimizes capacity maximization of satellite link access bearer resources, and enables the satellite link access bearer resources to be reasonably applied. |
