PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a conveying time for a specimen rack, and to make rack conveyance efficient. SOLUTION: An autoanalyzer includes a lane shift part 46 comprising lanes of the number larger than the number of lanes of a specimen conveying part 44, and having an intermediating lane 46a shifted to a direction orthogonal to a conveying direction, and a preceding specimen rack 41 existing in the intermediating lane 46a is tentatively evacuated from a conveying line, by a shift operation of the lane shift part 46, when desiring an urgent specimen rack for holding the specimen of high analytical priority to be conveyed in advance, to convey the following urgent specimen rack first.
