The present invention refers to a cost-effective method for processing and recycling rubber and industrial debris from rubber for obtaining: a- modified rubber for improving the properties of different polymeric materials and, b- low-molecular weight hydrocarbons, useful for manufacturing high-commercial value products such as: additives, paint, adhesives and may also be used as raw material for the manufacture of diesel. The method consists in processing the rubber material using catalytic systems as primers, which are formed by a catalyst and a co-catalyst or a catalyst, a co-catalyst and a promoter or only a catalyst and, these being added in different molar ratios. The catalysts are formed by simple complexes and vinylidene and aliliden complexes, from transition metals such as ruthenium, osmium, molybdenum, tungsten and rhenium. The co-catalysts that may be used are acetylenes and acetylene derivatives and tense cyclic olefins such as: Cyclobutene, norbornene, norbornadiene, cycl ic polienes such as cycloocatatetraene, cycloheptatriene, amomgst others. The used promoters accept electrons such as: trichloracetic acid, aluminum chloride, aluminum bromide, titanium chloride (IV), trichloroacetyl aldehyde, 1,4-benzoquinone, 2,3,5,6-tetrachloride-1,4benzoquinone, amongst others. The process of the rubber material is performed in the presence or absence of solvents, using linear olefins or different natural substances with double carbon-carbon bonds in the structure thereof, as chain transference agents; under soft temperature and pressure conditions.
|
