Conventional constructions of liquid fuel vaporizing section have had only one vaporization channel. This involves the problem of, although the amount of fuel vaporized and supplied is steady at constant temperature, suffering from changing of the supply amount depending on temperature changes. That is, when the ambient temperature and operating temperature are varied, it would be difficult to ensure stable output performance of the fuel cell. There is provided a fuel cell comprising liquid fuel supply part (12); a power generation part having anode electrode (22) and cathode electrode (24) arranged opposite to each other with electrolyte (23) interposed therebetween; two or more vaporization channels (A, B) having fuel vaporization supply characteristics different from each other, disposed between the liquid fuel supply part and the power generation part; and switching part (13) for switching of the two or more fuel vaporization channels in accordance with temperature change. Consequently, irrespective of any external changes of temperature, etc., there can be realized attainment of stable output performance of the fuel cell.
