PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of reducing inner surface failures and securing steering stability, and suppressing deterioration of rolling resistance caused by a weight increase by suppressing ununiformity of the rubber thickness of a tire inner surface in a predetermined region.SOLUTION: A pneumatic tire includes a thickness-increased rubber layer 7 continuously extending from an outer end 7Eo located near a belt end position 51E in a wide belt ply 51 to an inner end 7Ei located near a tire maximum width position BP and disposed between a carcass layer 4 and an inner liner layer 6. The maximum thickness position 7P of the thickness increased layer 7 is located more inside in a tire diameter direction than the outer end 7Eo of the thickness increased layer 7 and more outside in the tire diameter direction than the peripheral center of the thickness increased rubber layer 7. The thickness of the thickness increased rubber layer 7 at the outer end 7Eo and the inner end 7Ei is respectively smaller than that of the thickness increased rubber layer 7 at the maximum thickness position 7P. |
