PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a home fire alarm operating by use of a thermoelectric conversion element as a driving power source in an early stage of a fire, detecting the fire early, and also preventing a user from being surprised and confused at a sudden alarm so as to evacuate and extinguish a fire in alarming the occurrence of the fire around. SOLUTION: A home fire alarm 1 includes a temperature sensor 2 for detecting an ambient temperature to output a signal corresponding to the detected temperature; a fire determination processing unit 3 for determining the occurrence of the fire on the basis of an output signal of the sensor 2; an alarm unit 4 for alarming the occurrence of the fire outside; and a thermoelectric conversion element and a power storage unit for supplying power source to at least the processing unit 3.
