PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus capable of performing a convenient and positive correction of a displacement of a pallet boggie of a sintering machine by lubricant agent, eliminating wear of a facility caused by the displacement and extending a life of its surrounding component parts. SOLUTION: A correction of displacement of a pallet boggie of a sintering machine is applied to the sintering machine. In the machine, there is provided an endless transferring conveyor 100 comprised of endless running rails 5 forming a going passage and a returning passage in a vertical direction, and a plurality of pallet bogies 2 running on the endless running rails through boggie wheels 2a and a plurality of pallet bogies 2 are rotated and circulated between an ore supplying segment 3 and an ore discharging segment 4. Sensors 15 are arranged at predetermined locations of the endless running rails 5 so as to detect a displacement of the pallet bogies 2. Lubricant discharging ports 10 are spaced apart by a predetermined distance and arranged near upper both sides of the endless transferring conveyor 100. When displacement detection values attained from the sensors exceed a predetermined set value, the lubricant agent is coated from the discharging ports 10 to at least one of above the bogie wheel 2a, between the boggie wheels and the endless running rails and above the endless running rails.
