PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pressure-sensitive adhesive composition having excellent reworkability, not only producing no crack in the peripheral end part of an optical film even at high temperatures or high temperatures and high humidities but also causing no fine foaming, floating/peeling in the central part and forming no void in a display device using a light source of high luminance and suitably used for laminating the optical film. SOLUTION: The pressure-sensitive adhesive composition comprises 100 pts. of a copolymer (A) obtained by polymerizing monomers (a) and (b) and having 1,000,000 to 2,000,000 weight-average molecular weight, 20-150 pts. of a copolymer (B) prepared by polymerizing monomers (c) and (d) in the presence of the copolymer (A), 0.1-10 pts. of a polyol (C) which has≥3 degree of polymerization and is a liquid at 25°C and 0.003-3 pts. of a polyfunctional compound (D). (a): a monomer having a reactive functional group, (b): a monomer copolymerizable with the (a), (c): a monomer having at least either of a carboxy group or a hydroxy group and (d): a monomer copolymerizable with the (c).
