PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an immersed nozzle holding device capable of ensuring a sufficient space around a mold, and having high safety.SOLUTION: An immersed nozzle holding device 3 is provided in parallel with a sliding nozzle device 32 disposed on a bottom of a tundish 31 so as to slide in a thickness direction of a mold 34, elevates an immersed nozzle 5 by a drive device, and adds the pressing force of the immersed nozzle 5. As the drive device, a motor 12 or an air cylinder is provided on a drive device 33 side of the sliding nozzle device, and an angle between a longitudinal direction of a rotary shaft of the motor 12 or an expanding/contracting direction of the air cylinder and a sliding direction of the sliding nozzle device is made to be 30 degrees or less.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
