PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a chair comprising a sliding positioning mechanism capable of providing comfortable operational feeling.SOLUTION: A sliding positioning mechanism 34 is provided with an operation member 341 and plural engaging parts 31r. AS the operation member 341 descends to a lower lock position to engage with a corresponding engaging part 31r, an inner shell 32 is prohibited from sliding. As the operation member 341 ascends to an upper unlock position, the operation member 341 is disengaged with the engaging part 31r to allow the inner shell 32 to slide. An operation end of the operation member 341 is protruded to an underside 31d of an outer shell 31, and the outer shell 31 or the inner shell 32 is provided with a working face 31m that locks rise of the operation member 341 at the upper unlock position. |
