The present invention is a centrifugal compressor (1) provided with: a casing body (11) including a rotation shaft (2), an intake volute (B1) that supports an impeller (3) secured to the rotation shaft (2) so as to be rotatable about an axis (O) of the rotation shaft (2), that is formed in a ring shape centered on the axis (O), and that introduces process gas (G) into a flow channel (FC) of the impeller (3) by making the process gas (G) circulate so as to flow along the direction of the axis (O), and a discharge volute (B2) that is formed in a ring shape centered on the axis (O) and that discharges the process gas (G) from the flow channel (FC) of the impeller (3); and a plurality of intake nozzles (16) that are provided with spaces therebetween in the circumferential direction of the rotation shaft (2), that communicate with the intake volute (B1), and that allow the process gas (G) to be taken into the intake volute (B1) from outside. |
