PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a highly solvent-resistant, and heat-resistant container by using a resin foamed sheet with high moldability. SOLUTION: A resin foamed sheet containing a styrene-based resin, an olefin- based resin and, if necessary, a compatibilizer is formed. The foamed sheet has a residual weight ratio of about 10-50 wt.% per unit area (cm2) after immersion in tetrahydrofuran at 25 deg.C for 24 hours. In the resin foamed sheet, at least its surface is composed of the olefin-based resin. The styrene-based resin can be composed of a copolymer of a rubber component and an aromatic vinyl monomer and the like, and the olefin-based resin may have a melting temperature of about 120-240 deg.C. As the compatibilizer, at least one hydrogenated product can be used which is selected from (a) hydrogenated products of copolymers composed of vinyl aromatic compound units and conjugated diene compound units and (b) hydrogenated products of epoxides of copolymers composed of vinyl aromatic compound units and conjugated diene compound units. This resin foamed sheet is useful as a sheet for molding of containers. |
