<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base material with a hard coat film excellent in adhesion with the base material, scratch resistance, scratch strength, and pencil hardness or the like, and excellent in alkali resistance. <P>SOLUTION: The base material with the hard coat film is characterized in that it is composed of the base material and the hard coat film formed on the base material, the hard coat film is composed of (i) an organic resin matrix component and (ii) coated metal oxide particles coated with a polymer silane coupling agent to be a reactive material of polymerizable monomer with a reactive silane compound, an average particle diameter of the polymer silane coupling agent coated metal oxide particles is 5-500 nm, and the content in the base material is within the range of 0.5-80 wt.%. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT |
