POWER TRANSMITTING FLUIDS AND ADDITIVE COMPOSITIONS

A power transmitting fluid and a power transmitting fluid additive composition and a formulating method thereof are provided to have an enhanced wear-resistance and anti-shudder durability. The formulating method of the power transmitting fluid comprises the steps of: preparing a lot of base oil; preparing a small amount of the additive composition containing a dispersing agent, an anti-oxidant, an anti-foam agent and dihydrocarbyl hydrogen phosphite; and forming the power transmitting fluid by combining the base oil and the additive composition. The power transmitting fluid has the wear-resistance enhanced comparing to a power transmitting fluid not containing the additive composition.
