The toothbrush has a body with a head, and bristles are attached to the head. The body is divided into upper and lower segments (1, 2) that are axially movable into each other. An elastic material (5) is inserted between the upper and lower segments for producing pendulum-like oscillating movements. The upper segment, which flows into the head, forms an anchor (3) that immerses in a cavity of a recess (4) of the lower segment. The anchor of the upper segment has a different cross-sectional surface based on desired oscillating force. The segments are made of plastic or wood, metal, ceramics.
