<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of exhibiting a function as a lighting fixture to the utmost by simple structure and easy handling, and capable of continuously and evenly lighting with no interruption of light even if a plurality of light emitting devices are connected to one another as a line light source, for achieving indoor and outdoor lighting fixtures with no unevenness in color, excellent in color mixture, smaller in size, reduced in weight, and high in decorativeness. <P>SOLUTION: The light emitting device comprises a base, a substrate on which a plurality of light emitting elements are mounted in a length direction, and a lens which is longer than the base and the substrate in the length direction and covers them are stacked in this order. The lens comprises, at a pair of both ends, facing each other in length direction, notches which constitute fixing parts for fixing the lens outside and flanges formed on inner peripheries of the notches. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
