A method for diagnosing the pulmonary complications in pneumocystosis in HIV-infected persons and AIDS patients provides for X-ray examination with the assessment of the degree of the pulmonary collapse. Both pulmonary fields are divided into the rectangles, 9 on both sides, total, and the change in the angle of slope of the diaphragmatic cupula is assessed. When the area of the pulmonary collapse occupies not more than 2 rectangles and the angle of slope of the diaphragmatic cupula is less than 25°, the pulmonary complications of the first degree are diagnosed. When the area of the pulmonary collapse occupies up to 4-5 rectangles and the angle of slope of the diaphragmatic cupula is up to 26-30°, the pulmonary complications of the first degree are diagnosed. Finally, when the area of the pulmonary collapse occupies more than 5 rectangles and the angle of slope of the diaphragmatic cupula exceeds 30°, the pulmonary complications are of the third degree of severity. |
