PURPOSE: Recovery methods of alpha-aspartame by centrifugation or reduced-pressure filtration have drawbacks of high water content of aspartame cake and delay of recovery time. CONSTITUTION: Provided is the recovery method of alpha-aspartame crystal, used as sweetener and food additives, from separation of solid and liquid phase. alpha-aspartame crystal is separated from closed filter plate pack by applying pressure over 0.5 bar. This method reduces the time of recovery, the water content, and impurities in the crystal. |
