PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crucible furnace which enables improvement of heat exchange efficiency between a high temperature gas and a furnace body to reduce fuel consumption and a generation rate of CO.SOLUTION: A crucible furnace 1 includes: a crucible 3; a furnace main body 2 in which the crucible 3 is installed; and a burner 4 attached to a side wall 2B of the furnace main body 2 and configured to jet a high temperature gas for heating the crucible 3 into the furnace main body 2. At least part of an inner surface of the side wall 2B of the furnace body 2 is formed into an irregular shape in which protruding parts 25 and recessed parts 26 vertically extending are alternately arranged along a circumferential direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
