PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary machine capable of reducing a swirl flow entering a seal part in a broad range.SOLUTION: A rotary machine of the present invention comprises: a rotor 2 that has a rotary shaft 3 rotating about an axis and an impeller 4 compressing a fluid; a casing 6 that defines a casing flow passage through which the fluid compressed by the impeller 4 circulates and that forms a clearance between the casing 6 and the rotor 2 to cover the rotor 2 from an outer circumferential side; a seal part 7 that has a facing surface 71 facing an outer circumferential surface 31 of the rotor and that seals the fluid circulating through the clearance in an axial direction from a high-pressure side to a low-pressure side; and a high-pressure fluid supply part 8 that supplies the fluid on the high-pressure side which circulates in the casing flow passage to the clearance. The high-pressure fluid supply part 8 includes a plurality of injection ports 81, 82 formed in the facing surface 71 and injecting the fluid to the outer circumferential surface 31 of rotary shaft 3 in an opposite direction to a rotation direction of the rotary shaft 3, the injection ports 81, 82 being disposed to be distanced from each other in the axial direction.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2 |
