<p>The cylinder has a housing (1) with two covers and damper elements for damped stopping of the piston. The elements comprise of at least one damper nozzle (8a,b) integrated in at least one of the covers. Air flowing from the pressure chamber (6a,b) is passed through the nozzle only when the piston sealing ring (13a,b) has moved past the air outlet (7a,b) before reaching the end position, on the ventilation side of the piston (3). The cover channel (9a,b) connects the pressure chamber to the associated outer connection (5a,b). An additional elastomer damper ring (11a,b) is fitted to the inner surface of the cover to absorb hard end impacts. A filter element (12b) is fitted between nozzle and pressure chamber.</p> |
