PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air passage in a tubular case in an ionizer with pressure resistance without taking much space while securing an effective cross-sectional area, and to simply and easily secure the passage. SOLUTION: In this ionizer equipped with the tubular case 1 for housing a high-voltage power unit 2 and a control unit 3 therein, a plurality of electrode units 4 each having electrode needles 5a and 5b and an air jetting port 6 for jetting an air flow to their circumferences are linearly arranged along the longitudinal direction of the case 1. A part along the longitudinal direction of the tubular case is formed of a synthetic resin; in a resin case 12 formed of the synthetic resin, a passage pipe 12b of the air passage 15 extending in the longitudinal direction of the case 12 is integrally formed by using a part of its inside wall as a passage pipe wall; and the air passage is made to communicate with the air jetting port 6.
