A fuel dispensing nozzle inhibitor assembly for preventing a fuel dispensing nozzle having a diameter smaller than a predetermined diameter comprises a body portion 140 having inhibitor means, the body portion may have an external thread 160. An internal thread 162 may be formed around an inner surface of a deformable sleeve 150, which has a compressed condition to allow insertion into a fuel intake pipe and an expanded condition engaging the fuel intake pipe. Consequently, by engagement of external thread 160 of body portion 140 with internal thread 162 of deformable sleeve 150 the body portion 140 can be screwed into the deformable sleeve 150 after the deformable sleeve 150 has been mounted in a fuel intake pipe. |
