A cooling device for liquefied gas (1) is provided with: a gas passage (2) in which liquefied gas, which is liquefied via cooling, flows; and a refrigeration device (3) in which a refrigeration cycle (10) is formed by an evaporator (7), which cools the liquefied gas flowing in the gas passage (2), a compressor (4), a condenser (5), and a contraction/expansion apparatus (6). The refrigeration device (3) is provided with: an intake-side on-off valve (21) and a discharge-side on-off valve (22) respectively provided to an intake passage (9A) and a discharge passage (9B) of the compressor (4); and a service on-off valve (23) provided to a refrigerant passage (9) that is between the intake-side on-off valve (21) and the discharge-side on-off valve (22).
