A method for controlling the torque of a hybrid vehicle is provided to improve performance without additional cost by controlling the power generation torque of a motor. A method for controlling the torque of a hybrid vehicle comprises the steps of (S1) monitoring the negative pressure of an intake manifold to determine whether it is entered the control logic or not; (S2) restricting the sum of the air torque and the motor power generation torque if it is entered to the control logic; and (S3) compensating RPM so as to correspond to the size of the restricted set value.
