PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method by which a secondary battery arranged so that an insulating film is joined to a battery case can be manufactured without the need for using a special jig such as a heat-welding jig.SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing a secondary battery comprises the steps of: preparing an electrode body, a battery case, and an insulating film, at least one face of which is subjected to a treatment for increasing its affinity with the battery case; constructing a battery assembly arranged by enclosing the insulating film and the electrode body in the battery case so that the insulating film is interposed between the battery case and the electrode body, and the insulating film face subjected to the treatment fronts toward an inner wall of the battery case; and putting the battery assembly under a condition of being heated while pressing the battery assembly so that the electrode body is in close contact with the insulating film, and the insulating film is in close contact with the battery case.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
